V-Hub
What is V-Hub?
V-Hub is Vodafone’s digital advisory microsite aimed at small and medium businesses (SMBs). It provides expert articles, tools, and personalized recommendations designed to help SMBs grow and adapt in an increasingly digital economy. The microsite serves as a blueprint that Vodafone’s local markets can customize with relevant content and features tailored to their specific audiences.
Goal & Problems
The project aimed to empower SMBs by providing accessible, actionable digital knowledge and personalized support. It was essential to design a scalable and adaptable system that local Vodafone markets could easily customize. The challenges included integrating advanced AI-driven tools in a way that was accessible to non-technical users and organizing a large library of business resources to ensure easy discovery and relevance for a diverse SMB audience.
Approach & Research
To meet these objectives, I conducted research into the digital transformation challenges faced by SMBs and mapped user journeys focused on content exploration and tool usage. Collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was key to integrating advanced tools like the AI-driven Business Help Search and the Future Ready Assessment, ensuring technical feasibility and a seamless user experience. I developed a modular and responsive design system that could be easily localized by Vodafone’s operating companies. A content strategy was also created to surface the most relevant articles, guides, and events for each user segment.
Design
The design introduced an AI-driven Business Help Search tool that connects users with the most relevant resources and expert advice quickly and intuitively. The Future Ready Assessment, built on the TCS TwinX engine, was designed as an interactive questionnaire that provides tailored recommendations based on users’ business profiles. The microsite was created as a flexible blueprint, allowing local Vodafone markets to customize content and features while maintaining brand consistency. The responsive design ensured a seamless experience across desktop and mobile devices, catering to the varied needs of SMBs.
Outcomes
V-Hub has been successfully rolled out across 14 countries, supporting millions of SMBs with digital resources and personalized tools. The AI-driven search and assessment features significantly increased user engagement and repeat visits. The adaptable blueprint enabled local Vodafone teams to quickly tailor the microsite to their markets, filling it with relevant content. V-Hub has become a cornerstone of Vodafone’s SME digital strategy, recognized for its positive impact on business growth and digital transformation.
